Leadership & Progression:
Diversity at the top: Leading from above
Shocking statistics show a lack of representation of people from a diversity of backgrounds including those from lower socio-economic backgrounds in senior roles in businesses across the City. This seminar draws on the experiences of a range of leaders from a diversity of backgrounds to help us understand why there is a lack of senior leaders and what are the barriers and challenges to ‘getting on’. Our expert panellists will also share how we can address these barriers and build inclusive cultures with leadership that represents the diverse nature of an organisation. This seminar features:
- Dan Robertson, Director, VERCIDA consulting
- Steven Cooper, Co-Chair, Social Mobility Commission
- Tanuj Kapilashrami, Group Head of HR, Standard Chartered
- Annette Byron, Partner, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer
- David Clarke, Director of Services, RNIB
- Gavin Lewis, Managing Director, BlackRock
- Christopher Woolard Interim Chief Executive, FCA
